What is the Cars.com Affordability Report?
This annual report is intended to help car shoppers find affordable vehicles. Every year, they identify the most affordable new vehicles in four categories: small SUVs, EVs and PHEVs, small pickup trucks, and cars. The three Nissan models below made the cut this year.
2023 Nissan Versa SV – best value sedan
The Nissan Versa is one of the least expensive vehicles on the market today, which makes it no surprise that it made the list this year. With a starting MSRP of just $15,730, the Nissan Versa is more affordable than most other sedans and even many pre-owned vehicles. It’ll beat your expectations in other areas too. It delivers a fuel economy rating of up to 40 mpg on the highway, for example.
2022 Nissan Sentra S – best value compact car
The Nissan Sentra is a compact car that starts out at just $19,950. Not many new vehicles are available for less than $20,000 today, and sometimes finding one under $25,000 is even a challenge. It may not be as inexpensive as the Versa, but the Nissan Sentra still offers an affordable price for many individuals.
2023 Nissan Kicks S – best value SUV
Starting at $20,290, the Nissan Kicks is an SUV that offers best-in-class fuel economy and many other affordability features. It is the most expensive of the three Nissan models to make the list, but not by much, and you’re getting a new SUV for under $25,000 when you pay MSRP, so that’s a great deal.
